Day 13.)A band or artist that has gotten you through some tough days. (write a letter.)
I know it says to write a letter..... well I'm not gonna write a letter because there have been many artists that have gotten me through some tough days in my life.
Micheal W. Smith has been one of my favorite artists for as long as i can remember and any time I was feeling down or sad I would play any of his music because it all held the same meaning to me in my faith and let God guide me and he gives me all the strength I need in life.
NGDB was another group that I always found laughter with. Their music was just so fun and allowed me to just dance and let go. I have a memory of my cousin Amy and I making up a dance to Fishin' in the Dark and just laughing. It is probably one of my favorite memories of her and I.
Of course I had my boy band groups that I love.. :) God Bless the Broken Road is one of my favorite songs to listen to when I am feeling down or alone or unsure of things. It has a powerful message and I love it.
I also love God Must Have Spent a Little More Time on You! Another song to listen to when I am feeling down or alone. It always leads back to my faith and the strength of the Lord.
